It all started back in 2003, when a French team (Elecbyte) released the beta version of a fighting game really well done on the universe of Saint Seiya, amateur game developed with the famous platform for fighting games, the Mugen!
The game in question is Saint Seiya Mythologie 1.3, over the years become one of the most famous made for PCs, with 66 playable characters (including 2 bonus a little unnecessary and 3 hidden characters), good graphics on the whole and especially lots of movies' introduction and special moves of chars.
The team that was in charge of the project left him and the game has stagnated at version 1.3 to this day.
In fact, to this day!
Because today is born the new version, Saint Seiya Mythologie 1.4! (22.11.2015)
Saint Seiya Mythologie 1.4 - EX Version has been developed with the base of the old version 1.3, which have been added:
- Many new char and discarded some char minor.
- New music tracks.
- New stages.
- All the names of the original manga.
*NEW (EX Version)*
- New settings to the characters that will be a little harder to die and better calibrated level of the cosmos.
- A greater number of fights in "Story" mode, in "Team Story" and "Team Co-Op" mode.
- A better choice of stages to match the Story mode mentioned above.
- Increased speed of the fighting (chosen to optimize the battles).
118 chars (one hidden).
135 stages.
85 battles for the "Story" mode.
43 battles for the "Team Story" and "Team Co-Op" mode.
The menu is in English (the first was in French mixed English), the voices of the char are also in Italian.
Here is the explanation of the various items:
STORY -> Story Mode (1 player).
VERSUS -> 1 on 1 (2 players).
TEAM STORY -> Story Mode (1 player) with the possibility to choose a team of two characters.
(Simul -> the second char it controls the CPU, turns -> the player handles both take turns chars)
TEAM VS -> 2 vs. 2 (2 players).
TEAM CO-OP -> Story mode (2 players) with a team of 2 people.
SURVIVAL -> Survival Mode (1 player).
SURVIVAL CO-OP -> Survival mode (2 players).
TRAINING -> Training Mode (1 player).
DEMO -> Demonstration (cpu).
OPTIONS -> Options.
QUIT GAME -> Quit Game.
P.S. The logo of the game remained the same as the previous version,
so when you start the game do not be surprised if it says version 1.3 yet!

Tutto è nato nel lontano 2003, quando un team francese (Elecbyte) pubblicò la versione Beta di un picchiaduro veramente ben fatto sull'universo di Saint Seiya,
gioco amatoriale sviluppato con la celebre piattaforma per picchiaduro, il Mugen!
Il gioco in questione è Saint Seiya Mythologie 1.3, diventato negli anni uno dei più famosi realizzati per Pc, con 66 personaggi giocabili
(fra cui 2 bonus un pò inutili e 3 personaggi nascosti), una buona grafica nel complesso e soprattutto tantissimi filmati d'introduzione e delle mosse speciali dei chars.
Il team che si occupava del progetto lo abbandonò e il gioco è rimasto fermo alla versione 1.3 fino ad oggi.
Appunto, fino ad oggi!
Perchè oggi è nata la nuova versione, Saint Seiya Mythologie 1.4 - EX Version! (22.11.2015)
Saint Seiya Mythologie 1.4 - EX Version è stato sviluppato con la base della vecchia versione 1.3, dove sono stati aggiunti:
- Molti nuovi chars, scartato qualche char minore.
- Nuovi brani musicali.
- Nuovi stages.
- Tutti i nomi del manga originali.
*NEW (EX Version)*
- Nuovi settaggi ai personaggi che saranno un pò + duri a morire e livello del cosmo calibrato meglio.
- Un numero maggiore di combattimenti nello "Story" mode, nel "Team Story" e "Team Co-Op" mode.
- Una migliore scelta degli stage da abbinare agli Story mode sopra citati.
- Maggiore velocità dei combattimenti (scelta per ottimizzare le battaglie).
118 chars (1 nascosto).
135 stages.
85 battaglie per la modalità "Story".
43 battaglie per la modalità "Team Story" e "Team Co-Op ".
Il menu è in inglese (prima era in francese misto inglese), le voci dei char sono anche in italiano.
Ecco la spiegazione delle varie voci:
STORY -> Modalità Storia (1 giocatore).
VERSUS -> 1 contro 1 (2 giocatori).
TEAM STORY -> Modalità Storia (1 giocatore) con possibilità di scegliere un team di 2 personaggi.
(simul -> il secondo char lo controlla il cpu, turns -> il giocatore gestisce entrambi i chars a turno)
TEAM VS -> 2 contro 2 (2 giocatori).
TEAM CO-OP -> Modalità storia (2 giocatori) con un team di 2 personaggi.
SURVIVAL -> Modalità Sopravvivenza (1 giocatore).
SURVIVAL CO-OP -> Modalità Sopravvivenza (2 giocatori).
TRAINING -> Modalità Allenamento (1 giocatore).
DEMO -> Dimostrazione (cpu).
OPTIONS -> Opzioni.
QUIT GAME -> Esci dal gioco.
P.S. Il logo del gioco è rimasto lo stesso della precedente versione,
perciò quando avvierete il gioco non stupitevi se c'è scritto ancora versione 1.3!
